Cocinandos Restaurant (León)

In September 2003, after extensive experience in hotel and catering schools and some of the best restaurants in Spain, Yolanda Leon and Juanjo Pérez decided to open their own restaurant.

They set up a risky venture in a city like Leon, with a deep-rooted gastronomic culture. To their minimalist premises, with the kitchen in full view in the centre of the dining room, they added somewhat radical cuisine, as they dispensed with  a menu and offered only a tasting menu of seasonal products.

Their cuisine can be described as a product, providing their own vision of updated Leonese cuisine.

They have just received a Michelin star.
