Sucede Restaurant (Valencia)

Sucede was created born as a pure gourmet restaurant. The area that houses the project was selected by the German publisher Taschen as one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world in 2014, and it combines the geometric and timeless interior design of the renowned designer Francesc Rife with original architectural remains (Arab wall from the 12th century, 15th century Gothic arch…) Sucede’s proposal is to create a gastronomic story through the centuries with an offer that contains an a la carte menu and two tasting menus. It is in the latter two where Miguel Angel gives free rein to his creative flow.

Miguel Angel Mayor (Barcelona, 1984) is one of the country’s most prominent chefs. He has accumulated experience in some of the most important restaurants in Spain: La Broche (2002), Mugaritz (2003), Quique Dacosta (2007), El Bulli (2009-2011) and Arola (2011-2013). In March 2016, he joined Sucede Restaurant determined to lead the unique gastronomic project in the city of Valencia.
