Mirazur restaurant (Menton, France)

Mauro Colagreco (La Plata, 1976). In 2017 his restaurant has been declared 4th best in the world on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List. As a result it is the best restaurant in France in the world.

He studied at the Gato Dumas Cookery School and completed his studies in France. In 2006 he opened Mirazur, in Menton on the French Riviera. He won the Gault & Millau Guide Award for Breakthrough Chef of the Year, and shortly afterwards, his first Michelin star. He later was awarded a second one, which he still has, and was named a Knight of the Arts and letters by the French Ministry of Culture and Ambassador of Culinary Arts by the Argentine Ministry of Culture, among other honours.

In 2016 he was named Ambassador of the Alba White Truffle in the world and a Knight of the National Order of Merit in France.
