La Sirena Restaurant (Petrer)

From a family of fishmongers and fishermen, she left her Law and Economics studies to concentrate on the catering business.

She is co-owner and chef of the La Sirena restaurant in Petrer. She is both eminently self-taught and has taken a number of courses specialising in the area of hotel management and catering.

She has taken part as a speaker at several gastronomic congresses.

She has received awards such as the Tourist Merit Award (2000), Best Chef from the Valencian Academy of Gastronomy (2005), Family Business Award (2007) and the APHEA Plato Award for Best Chef (2013), among others

La Sirena has been awarded 2 suns in the Repsol Guide.

The La Sirena restaurant is included in the list of the 100 best restaurants in Spain in the rice category.

It won the 2017 APHEA Plato Award for Best Restaurant.
