Lera Restaurante Hotel

He trained at the Luis Irizar Cooking School in San Sebastian. His teachers included Arzak, Hilario Arbelaitz and Abraham García and he has had extensive experience in renowned Spanish restaurants. He ran his own restaurant in Toro (Zamora) for four years, where he won numerous accolades.

In 2008, he went on to manage the family establishments in Castroverde de Campos: Mesón el Labrador and Posada Senda los Frailes.

In 2015, he transformed the family businesses into the new Lera restaurant-hotel, which was awarded two Suns by the Repsol Guide in 2017 and honoured by the Castile and León Academy of Gastronomy as the best restaurant in 2017.

In 2017 and 2018 he took part as a speaker at the Madrid-Fusión Congress. In 2018 it received the award for best chef in Castile and Leon from Radio Televisión de Castilla y León.
