Culler de Pau Restaurant (O Grove)

The son of a chef, he started in the kitchen at the age of 14, combining studies at the ISP Compostela school with his work in the kitchen of the family hotel, where he began to get experience of the job.

When he finished studying, he spent some time at the hotel, but alternated this with the Gran Hotel de La Toja (5 stars), El Corte Inglés (Vigo), Zallo Barri (Gernika), Bica do Sapato (Lisbon), Martín Berasategui (San Sebastian), La Broche (Madrid) and Balzac (Madrid).

Finally, he opened Culler of Pau, a restaurant which is true to its vegetable garden, seafood pantry and local produce.

The restaurant opened in 2009. In 2010, he was nominated for the Best New Chef Award at Madrid Fusion.

In 2011, he received his first Repsol sun.

In 2012, he received a Michelin star and the second Repsol sun.
