As Garzas Restaurant (Malpica, A Coruña)

Born in Santiago de Compostela in 1973, he is the chef and owner of the restaurant As Garzas, which is situated in Malpica de Bergantiños in the province of A Coruña, and has had a Repsol sun since 2013 and a Michelín star since 2010.

A self-taught chef, he shared the kitchen with Michelin-starred Galician chef Toñi Vicente and owned the Garfio restaurant in Denia (Alicante).

He was the director of the first Hotel Management and Catering school run by Carballo town council.

He has received several gastronomic awards, including the “Álvaro Cunqueiro” award for promoting Galician cuisine and the 2010 Tourism and Gastronomy Award for the Best Business Project.

He is a weekly contributor to the Radio Voz programme “Voces de Bergantiños” in the cooking section.
