BonAmb Restaurant (Javea)

Alberto Ferruz was born in Cariñena in 1984. Aged just 12, he was already working at the La Bodega restaurant, which was owned by one of his uncles. This commitment led him to study hotel management and catering in Zaragoza.

After working for three years with Martín Berasategui, he spent two years in the Parisian restaurant Taillevent.

Returning to Spain, he worked for a while with Quique Dacosta and then started his career at BonAmb Restaurant. At the age of just 23, he was the head chef at the gourmet restaurant of the Denia Marriott Hotel.

Together with the BonAmb Restaurant, Alberto has grown and been achieving great things. Alberto Ferruz did not stop evolving and innovating in his work and the reward would come in the form of a Michelin star and Repsol sun from the respective guides of 2014. Without setting any goals other than daily work and effort, the BonAmb Restaurant and Alberto Ferruz achieved significant successes in 2015, such as a Michelin star, being awarded a second Sun in the Repsol Guide and the Best Chef of the Year award by the Valencian Academy of Gastronomy.

Finally, in 2016 he was awarded a second Michelin star.
