More than 40 chefs – many of them international award winners - from 5 continents will be gracing the stage of the Kursaal centre in a special edition of Gastronomika in the year that Donostia-San Sebastián is the European Capital of Culture. »

Five Continents, Six Culinary Cultures at San Sebastian Gastronomika

San Sebastian Gastronomika – Euskadi Basque Country will return to the Kursaal Conference Centre of Donosti-San Sebastian from 2 to 5 October. This XVIII edition is the last major event of the European Capital of Culture that the Basque city is hosting this year. A brand-new feature at this year's conference is that the guest destination will be chefs and restaurants from six countries to represent the five continents of the world to produce a large contemporary culinary atlas. »

San Sebastian Gastronomika with “Zaporeak Solidario” This year, let’s help the refugees from Greece! Donate 1 euro and feed a child for a day

“Solidarity Flavours” is a Project led by the members of the Gastronomy Association of Intxaurrondo (Donosti). This is a project that started out to raise public awareness when faced with the terrible images that reached us of refugees arriving in Greece fleeing from the wars and the horror of the Middle East… Entire families (elderly people and children) with just about a roof over their heads but with no water or food… »
