- Over 12,000 accredited professionals visited San Sebastian Gastronomika 2012 from 8-10 October.
- Among them were 1,500 conference delegates (an increase of 7%), over 400 journalists (25% of them foreign) and 1,200 accredited as exhibitors.
- 250 speakers in ALTA and OFF.
- 140 exhibitors and 900 brands covering more than 5,000 square metres.
- The new website www.sansebastiangastronomika.com saw an increase of 17% in page views. There was also significant activity on social networks. Interaction on Facebook grew by 561%, and over 7,300 tweets were written with the #ssg12 hashtag, representing an increase of 122% over 2011, and it was the trending topic on various occasions.
2011 – Peru, Brazil, Mexico. Evolving, emerging, and diverse cuisines.

- More than 12,500 accredited professionals visited San Sebastian Gastronomika – Basque Country Savour It 2011 over the three days 21, 22 and 23 November.
- Among them, 1,300 conference delegates, more than 400 journalists (25% of them foreign) and 1,200 accredited as exhibitors.
- More than 300 speakers in ALTA and OFF.
- 700 people took part in the Popular Gastronomika Public Day on Sunday 20 November.
- Many users have been able to follow the conference live thanks to the www.tveuskadi.net channel provided by the Basque Government’s Tourism service.
- 130 exhibitors and 700 brands covering more than 5,000 square metres.
- 58 Michelin Stars and 64 Repsol Suns among the restaurants and chefs taking part.
- Social networks: reaching around 400,000 people in the digital environment and an exposure of close to 8,000,000 in terms of digital impact-impressions.
2010 – New York. Another step forward!
San Sebastian Gastronomika – Basque County Savour It 2010 in figures:
- More than 12,000 registered professionals visited San Sebastian Gastronomika – Basque Country Savour It on 22, 23 and 24 November.
- Among these were 1,250 conference delegates, more than 400 journalists, 300 speakers and 1,100 registered exhibitors.
- More than 300 speakers in ALTA and OFF.
- 600 people took part in the Popular Gastronomika Public Day on Sunday 21 November.
- 130 exhibitors covering more than 5,000 square metres.
- 49 Michelin Stars, which could be more after Thursday 25 November, when the new Stars for the restaurants in this guide are announced in San Sebastian.
- 51 Repsol Suns among all the participating chefs, including the two chefs who for the first time have 3 suns each, as was announced during the event: Sergi Arola and Paco Roncero.
2009 – Japan. As always! As never before!
On 23rd, 24th and 25th November, the Palacio Kursaal congress centre turned into the epicentre of worldwide gastronomy. The following figures were registered:
- Just under 10,000 registered professionals visited San Sebastian Gastronomika – Basque Country Savour It 2009
- Including 1,100 conference members, just under 300 speakers, over 400 journalists and over 600 cooking school members, among others.
- More than 300 speakers in ALTA and OFF.
- 500 people took part in the Popular Gastronomika Public Day
- The fair, with 5,000 square metres and just under 130 exhibitors.
- 68 Michelin stars assembled at a single conference, 12 of these correspond to Japanese chefs.
